「獅子は我が子を千尋の谷に突き落とす」ということわざがあります。
今は使わないようですが、昔「巨人の星」というアニメで有名になりました。

ライオンはこのような行為は一切しないそうなのですが、だとするとこの誤ったことわざはいつ、誰が言い出したのでしょうか？

獅子は、中国の清涼山に棲む霊獣だそうです。
歌舞伎役者の踊りで定番の連獅子が、どうやら実在のライオンとの混同の始まりと言う意見があります。
